Environmental Tip #3 : Leftovers

If you’re done, and there’s food on your plate, you’ve got more options than to toss it.
What to do with your leftovers:
- Offer what’s left to a friend. Maybe your friend is afraid of germs, but they might not be. Besides, didn’t you learn to share in kindergarten?
- Pack it to go. Ask for a to-go box, even if it’s just a little food. You can have a snack later, and re-use the box.
- Pack it to go in your own box! I keep these containers from Lock and Lock handy in case my eyes are bigger than my stomach.
- Offer it to a homeless person. Hand it off on your way back to the office. Better than dropping a few coins or ignoring them.
- Replate it.
